Welcome to Charnos. We provide access to the Charnos.co.uk website (the ‘website’) and sell our products to you subject to the conditions set out on this page.

Please read these conditions carefully before using the website as by using the website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions. You might also like to print a copy so that you can remind yourself what you agreed to.

Charnos reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

3. Access to charnos.co.uk
We will try to make the website error-free. However, due to the nature of the internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will try to keep this to a minimum.

Charnos grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this website, but not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent from Charnos. You are granted a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive right to create a hyperlink to the home page at www.charnos.co.uk as long as the link does not portray Charnos, its affiliates, or their products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter. You may not use any Charnos logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark (including those of Charnos exclusive brands) as part of the link without our express written consent.

You must not use the website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way. You must not use the website for any of the following:

All software used on this website is the property of Charnos or our software suppliers and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws.

You may not systematically extract and/or re-utilise parts of the contents of the website without Charnos’ express written consent. In particular, you may not utilise any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools to extract (either once or a number of times) for re-utilisation any substantial parts of this website, without Charnos' express written consent. You also may not create and/or publish your own database that features substantial parts of this website (e.g. our prices and product listings) without Charnos' express written consent.

7. Copyright claims
Charnos wants to respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us.

8. Trademarks
Charnos and other marks indicated on our website are trademarks or registered trademarks of LF Intimates in the Charnos' graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, scripts and service names are the trademarks or trade dress of Charnos. Charnos’ trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not Charnos', in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers or in any manner that disparages or discredits Charnos.

9. Our contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from Charnos, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. That email will also confirm the cost of delivery which will be added to the purchase price. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we despatch that product to you and is confirmed by an email we send to you confirming that we have despatched the goods. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the despatch confirmation email to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a despatch confirmation email to have been despatched do not form part of that contract. You can review the orders you have placed and their current status at any time by clicking ‘Your Account’ from the homepage at www.charnos.co.uk. You are seeking to enter into a contract with Charnos, when you place an order.

10. Pricing and availability
We list availability information for products sold by us on the website, beyond this we cannot be more specific about availability. Please note that despatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed despatch times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by email if any products you order turn out to be unavailable.

Despite our best efforts, a small number of products on our web-site may be mis-priced. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of that cancellation.

11. Customs
When ordering goods from Charnos for delivery overseas the recipient may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact the local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Charnos, the recipient is considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the goods are received. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

12. Children
Charnos.co.uk does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18, you may use charnos.co.uk only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

13. Electronic communications
When you visit charnos.co.uk or send emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the website. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that those communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

14. Alteration of Service or Amendments to the Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Terms & Conditions at any time. You will be subject to the Terms & Conditions in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

15. Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these Terms & Conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

16. Waiver
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.

Delivery information
We'll ship your order as soon as we can, subject to payment authorisation and stock availability. All orders are sent in charnos.co.uk branded packaging.

You'll only be charged once per order for delivery, however many separate shipments we split your order into.
If your shipping confirmation email has been sent before 12 midday Monday - Friday, then your shipment will leave our warehouse the same day. If the shipping confirmation email was sent after this time (or at any time on a UK public holiday), your goods will be collected by the carrier on our next working day.

We'll do everything we can to make sure your order arrives on time, but please allow for any adverse conditions which might affect deliveries from the UK to your area, including (but not limited to) extreme weather or disruption to postal services / airlines.

All orders are shipped from the UK. Any additional charges for customs clearance into other countries must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and unfortunately can't predict what they might be.

* Monday to Friday (except public and bank holidays) with the exception of some northern parts of Scotland, Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Scilly Isles. For delivery purposes working days do not include Saturdays or Sundays.

Returns policy
If you're not completely happy with an item, we'll exchange it or give you a refund, provided that it's returned to us in its original condition & packaging, unworn, unwashed, and with all labels attached.

Please make sure that briefs/thongs/swimwear etc. are tried on over your own underwear. When trying on bras please avoid make up or lotions coming into contact with the item. In the interests of hygiene, we may refuse returns where it's obvious this hasn't been done.

UK returns
• Returns need to be received back by us within 14 days of receiving your order. Four days should be allowed for postage, so please make sure your item is posted within 10 days of receipt. We will always make allowances for disruption to postal services and airlines which might affect your return getting back to us.

• You'll need to pay return postage Please mark your package clearly as 'RETURNED GOODS' to avoid delays. Make sure you get proof of postage from the post office, so that we can still complete your return if it gets lost on its way back to us. You should keep this proof until you've received your refund or replacement.

• We'll send you an email to let you know when your return has been received.

Non-UK returns
• For orders shipped to addresses outside the UK we need to receive your return within 20 days. 10 days should be allowed for postage, so please make sure your item is posted within 10 days of receipt. We will always make allowances for disruption to postal services and airlines which might affect your return getting back to us.

• You'll need to pay return postage for all orders sent outside the UK. Please mark your package clearly as 'RETURNED GOODS' to avoid delays at customs. We suggest you use an insured, traceable shipping method and keep your shipping documentation so that you can make a claim with the carrier if it gets lost.

• We'll send you an email to let you know when your return has been received.

Refunds can only be issued to the card which was used to pay for the goods.
This policy doesn't affect your statutory rights.
